Together around Kranjska Gora
There are many hiking trails in the vicinity of Kranjska Gora.
In winter, many people sled down the Tamar or Krnica valleys and from Tromeja with 1508 meters above sea level (sometimes small crampons come in handy). But, even in summer, these easily accessible places are suitable for family hikes with puppies.
Lake Zelenci also has a unique charm in winter, as its beautiful color becomes even more pronounced. However, they are fascinating to visit at any time of the year.
Ciprnik is a slightly lower peak. Here, a marked path from Lake Jasna or an unmarked path from Planica leads. It is a peak worth visiting, as it offers a beautiful view of the Tamar valley and mountain Jalovec.
In autumn, the most exciting place to visit is Slemenova Špica, where many yellow larch trees are. However, it is also worth visiting in the summer because a marked path leads to the Slemenova Špica from Vršič. On all other mountains: Mojstrovke, Prisojnik, Razor, and Jalovec lead demanding routes.
For those whose orientation is not a problem and who love unmarked trails, many peaks above Srednji vrh are a paradise: Trupejevo and Maloško Poldne, Vošca, Kresišče, and Ostra Peč. They offer phenomenal views of the Julian Alps.
However, if you drive a little lower to the village Mojstrana, you can walk to the Peričnik waterfall or further to the Vrata valley. In the summer, the Vrata valley is the starting point for many tours, including Triglav, Škrlatica, Bovški Gamsovec, Stenar, Križ, Kriški Podi, and many others. These are long and very demanding tours.
Two more valleys can be mentioned: Kot and Krma. From here also many paths lead to the peaks of the Julian Alps.

But a safe step, you go to the mountains with your head, and even the easy path should not be underestimated. I share my tips, ideas of what to see and experience with you, but everyone has to take care of safety independently. Therefore, I do not accept responsibility for any injuries and accidents. Everyone knows how much he can do.
